Sync with your other devices
Keep a phone and a computer, or two phones, in step without any server holding your data. You carry an encrypted file from one device to the other and merge it. Both ways work, and you can repeat it whenever you like.
How it works
- Choose a passphrase (at least 8 characters). Use the same one on both devices. It is never stored or sent.
- On the device with the newer changes, make a sync file and move it across: share it to yourself, email it or use a cable.
- On the other device, open this page, enter the passphrase and choose the file. You see what will change before anything does.
- To bring changes back the other way, repeat from the other device.
- If the same record was changed on both devices, the most recent change wins.
- A record you delete on one device is deleted on the other when you merge.
- It is a manual exchange, not live syncing. Automatic syncing would need a server that stores your data, which this app deliberately avoids.
- Profile in use on this device: Me. Sync the same profile on both devices.
- Medicine dose notes and your targets, units and goals travel too. Notes are only ever added, never overwritten or removed; for targets, the copy saved most recently wins. Theme, text size, language and your smart-parse choice stay on each device.
