The full terms
Version 2026-10-11
1. What this app is
MSRX GlucoNexa ("the app") is a free diabetes logbook that runs in your web browser. It lets you record glucose readings, meals, medicines, doses and other notes, and shows them back to you as lists, charts and summaries. It is operated by MSRX, an individual-run project in India ("the operator", "we").
By tapping "I understand and agree" you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Not a medical device, not medical advice
The app is a record-keeping and pattern-viewing tool only. It is not a medical device, is not approved or certified as one, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
The app does not diagnose, prescribe, or tell you how much insulin or medicine to take. Any figure it shows (averages, time in range, estimated GMI, patterns, food or dose history) is a calculation from what was entered, and can be incomplete or wrong.
Always follow the plan given by your doctor or care team. Never delay, change or skip treatment because of something shown in the app. If you have symptoms of very high or very low glucose, or feel unwell, get medical help immediately; do not rely on the app.
3. Readings, meter scan and imports
Numbers can enter the app by typing, by scanning a meter display with your camera, or by importing a file. Reading a number from a photo is an estimate and can be wrong, especially with glare, shadow or unusual displays. You must check every scanned or imported value against your meter or source before you save it or act on it.
Your meter, sensor or lab result is the reference. The app is never the source of truth for a clinical decision.
4. Your data and your responsibility
Your log, your details and your settings are stored on this device, in this browser. There is no account and no copy on our servers. Clearing site data, uninstalling the browser or app, losing or resetting the device, or a browser fault can erase them permanently, and we cannot recover them.
You are responsible for making your own backups (Privacy centre) and for keeping them safe. If you set an app lock code or a passphrase and forget it, nobody, including us, can recover what it protects.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, and for who can use your device. Anyone who can open your unlocked device can see your log unless you use the app lock.
5. Privacy
We do not collect, receive or store your health data. It never leaves your device unless you choose to move it: by exporting a backup or report, by sharing a snapshot link (the data sits inside the link itself), or by using an optional feature that is switched on by you.
Optional features that contact other services only when you use them include food lookup (Open Food Facts) and any smart-parse or similar helper shown in the app. When you use one, the text or search term you send goes to that service and is governed by its own terms. The app checks that you have chosen the feature before sending anything.
The details you give on the first screen (name and the optional fields) are stored encrypted on this device and are used only to personalise the app and, if you choose, your reports. The Privacy centre shows what the app holds and lets you delete it.
6. Age and children
If you are under 18, use the app only with a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms for you and is responsible for the child's use and for the decisions made about the child's care.
7. Acceptable use
Use the app lawfully and only for your own record keeping, or for a person you are legally entitled to care for. Do not try to break, reverse-engineer for harmful purposes, overload or misuse the app or its hosting, and do not present output of the app as a medical record issued by a doctor or laboratory.
8. Ownership
The app, its design, name and code belong to the operator. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it. Your data remains yours.
9. No warranty
The app is provided free, "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or that it will be error-free or keep your data. Features can change, move or be withdrawn at any time.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss, injury, health outcome, loss of data, or direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, or from reliance on anything it shows. This includes any decision about food, medicine, insulin or care taken with the help of the app.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Your responsibility to us
You agree to hold the operator harmless from claims made by others that arise from your misuse of the app or breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When the text changes, the app asks you to read and accept the new version before you carry on. The version you accepted and the time are recorded on this device only.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from the use of the app.
