Where your data lives

In this browser, on this device (IndexedDB), in the profile Me. There is no account and no server copy of your log.

Browser protection from automatic clean-up: unknown.
Clearing site data, uninstalling the browser, or switching phones removes the log unless you have a backup.

What leaves this device

Normally, nothing. Readings, meals, doses and notes are never uploaded.

Smart parsing is off. When on, and only when the built-in rules are unsure, the single sentence you typed in "Type it" and the numbers found in it are sent to this app's server and to TypeSafe's Jev model to decide what each number means. They are not stored and not tied to an account. Your log, history and settings are never sent.Barcode lookup asks each time. When you scan a packaged food, only the barcode number is sent to Open Food Facts, a public non-profit database. The camera picture never leaves the device.

The model only picks the meaning of numbers and timing. It does not diagnose, prescribe, suggest doses, or answer medical questions.

If something goes wrong: recovery steps

Do not clear site data or reinstall the browser yet.
Download a backup from this page first, if the app still opens.
To move to a new phone: download a backup here, open this site on the new phone, and use "Restore from a backup file".
If restore says the file is damaged, try an older backup. Backups made by older versions restore fine.

Back up to your own storage

Keep a copy in a place you already control: a folder on your computer, Google Drive or iCloud, or a message to yourself. MSRX never holds a copy and has no way to reach one.

This browser cannot keep a backup file up to date by itself, so use the share sheet below whenever you want a copy.

Moving between devices and sharing

Sync with your other devices merges an encrypted file between your own phone and computer.
Share a snapshot makes a read-only summary link for a carer or clinician.

Delete everything

Permanently removes every entry, reminder, custom food and setting from this device. It cannot be undone, so make a backup first if you might want the data.
